About Esther:
Esther graduated with a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (OT) in 2005, from James Cook University . Esther was first involved in Brainy Blocks Occupational Therapy for Children in 2002 as an OT student.
Since graduating, Esther has been focused on raising her young family, which has seen her develop an empathy and understanding of the challenges and demands faced by families and parents today. This role has given Esther first had experience and understanding of child development.
Since her placement with Brainy Blocks in 2002, Esther has continued her involvement with the practice as it grew and developed. This has then led to her establishing the Townsville Branch of Brainy Blocks. Working as a linked Brainy Blocks practice gives Esther the benefit of using 20 years of resources and programs as well as an experienced professional colleague to mentor with on a regular basis.
Esther has also worked in a child advocate position. This has involved talking with children and young people in a variety of settings and raising and reporting on the issues, with a variety of government and non government bodies. |
